STRUCTURE

AND FRAME

Over the three full days we will alternate between different types of meditation, yoga, meaningful conversations, challenging experiments (as mindful eating or silent retreat), interesting neuroscience research applied in leadership, case studies, rest, fun and much more. We'll create a space for awareness, by using a kind structure and a step-by-step approach throughout scientifically proven mindfulness-based stress reduction and yoga practices.

As leaders, by bringing awareness of our body, thoughts, and emotions, we facilitate self-regulation and a wider possibility to opt for resilience and happiness at work.
As part of this retreat, there is also a journey into the world of Hatha Yoga , through daily yoga practices, which will be inter-connected to the mindfulness practices.
Hatha Yoga is a blend of yoga poses (asanas), functional movement, breathing exercises, meditation, and attention training. Yoga moments will include morning energizing practices, themed practices and afternoon or evening relaxation practices. Themes may include how to listen to our body, how to adapt the poses and movements, how to practice according to our energy level, how to work with our own body in a friendly and collaborative way, basic movements of the spine, and how to discern between functioning on autopilot vs. taking actions from a point of strength and clarity.
We will practice and work with basic mindfulness meditations and yoga poses , functional movement, and different versions of asanas. Over the course of the 3-day retreat, we will approach all pose categories in a progressive and intelligent manner. We will practice and learn about the benefits of standing poses, twists, seated poses, backbends, mindful walk etc. We will also discuss the "how to" of yoga, basic practice principles, how to connect with our body, how to find balance between strength or stability and ease or relaxation. Which is the essence of a Hatha Yoga practice - and why not, the essence of leadership?

Preparation and pricing plan

No prior meditation or yoga experience is required to participate in this retreat.
However, it is required to be able to open up to a non-judging and beginners' mind, curiosity, acceptance, patience, trust and kindness.
Do not worry if you do not master all above! These are the attitudes that we will nurture and let grow along the retreat!
We will take advantage of the location's setting and yoga room, to create a safe space for those who wish to set the basis and/or continue and experience the practice of mindfulness and yoga.

Balanced vegetarian food will be served in retreat. More details as we approach the final preparations.
The regular price for the retreat is 580 Euro/participant.

The early bird price is 540 Euro/participant, will be announced the early bird period.

Retreat facilitators

JUDIT HĂRDĂUȚ

Judit Hărdăuț, Mindfulness Teacher (Mindful Academy Solterreno, Spain) & Professional Certified Coach (ICF), with over 20 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, and training in organizational/teams/leaders and personal development.

She is the founder of the CuBlândețe community, as she honestly believes in the power of kindness as a superpower in solving problems and creating constructive future.

In her leadership programs, she calls for a challenging, genuine, and fulfilling work: explore and open-up to what is already here: resources and awareness. Not in a mystical way, but in a very science-based approach.

She is trained as a solution focus coach, with more than 3500 hours of coaching, training and mindfulness programs. She is collaborating with well-known corporations, especially in the west part of Romania, where she lives with her family.

LUMI PÎRVU

Lumi Pîrvu studies and practices Yoga since 2007. She is fascinated by the ways in which this ancient practice teaches us discernment, self knowledge and gives us strength and ease to navigate daily life events, challenges, joys and sorrows.

Her teaching style is interactive, friendly and alignment-based. She offers options to adapt and adjust during practice. Her classes blend basic yoga poses (asanas), functional movement, simple breathing techniques (pranayama) and attention focus or meditation (dhyana).

Lumi started her own yoga journey and studies in Toronto, Canada. Over the years, she has taught yoga in the United States, in different settings and to people from all walks of life such as in corporations (Oracle, Zeiss, Kaiser Permanente), yoga studios, fitness clubs, community centers, to seniors and private classes.

She currently lives and teaches in Timisoara, Romania.
